Tour Plan
- Arrive in Zanzibar, meet by our guide/driver and greet at Zanzibar Airport
- Transfer to your chosen hotel/lodge.
- Have a Zanzibar tour briefing by our professional guide at the hotel/lodge
- Leave you to rest and prepare for tomorrow
- Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge
- After breakfast pick up by our driver for Prison Island tour
- We drive to Zanzibar Stone Town to take our boat to Prison Island
- Prison Island was a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland
- Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises
- You will have time to visit forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies
- The beautiful coral reef here, is ideal for snorkeling, and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing
- This tour is a great way to see some history and wildlife, and also to see Stone Town from the sea
- As this is the half day trip after 2 or 3 hrs., we will take our boat for a ride back
- Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge
- After breakfast we drive to Kizimkazi fishing village for a dolphin tour
- After arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins
- If we lucky we can use about 5 to 10 minutes cruising on search of dolphins
- After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkeling before getting back to the beach for taking shower
- Have lunch and a bit of beach leisure
- After leisure we drive to Jozani forest to see the red colobus monkeys and visit the floating mangrove bridge
- Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative
- A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer
- After the tour we drive back to a hotel/lodge.
- Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge
- Another day city tour to Zanzibar’s colorful market
- Its alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices
- We will continue to the site of a cathedral built in 1874 then to the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip’s. House, the former British Club, the Old Fort and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary
- Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town
- Have lunch at spice farm and after lunch we walk to the spice plantations for the spice tour
- Guaranteed to awaken your senses, we will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and sav our fruits and spices
- This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils
- Thereafter transfer to a hotel/lodge
- Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge
- After breakfast we check out and start our journey to the beautiful beach of Matemwe muyuni.
- After arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins.
- After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkelling and sandbank before getting back to the beach for BBQ seafood lunch.
- Have lunch and a bit of beach leisure.
- After leisure we drive to the aquarium for swimming, feeding and petting sea turtles
- After the tour we drive back to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight
- After breakfast you will be transfer to the Seaport/Airport to catch your flight back home or to continue with your own arrangement
