5 Days Zanzibar Experience Package

• After breakfast, pick up by our driver for the Prison Island tour.
• We drive to Zanzibar Stone Town to take our boat to Prison Island.
• Prison Island was a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland.
• Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises.
• You will have time to visit the forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies.
• The beautiful coral reef here is ideal for snorkeling, and there is a lovely white beach for sunbathing.
• This tour is a great way to see some history and wildlife, and also to see Stone Town from the sea.
• As this is a half-day trip, after 2 or 3 hours, we will take our boat for a ride back.

• After breakfast, we drive to Kizimkazi fishing village for a dolphin tour.
• Upon arrival, we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins.
• If we are lucky, we can spend about 5 to 10 minutes cruising in search of dolphins.
• After swimming with them, we go to shallow water for snorkeling before heading back to the beach for a shower.
• Have lunch and enjoy a bit of beach leisure.
• After leisure, we drive to Jozani Forest to see the red colobus monkeys and visit the floating mangrove bridge.
• Jozani has an excellent nature trail, and the guides are well trained and informative.
• A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer.
• After the tour, we drive back to the hotel/lodge.
• Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge.

• Another day city tour to Zanzibar’s colorful market.
• Its alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amidst the heady aroma of herbs and spices.
• We will continue to the site of a cathedral built in 1874, then visit the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip’s House, the former British Club, the Old Fort, and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary.
• Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town.
• Have lunch at a spice farm, and after lunch, we walk to the spice plantations for a spice tour.
• Guaranteed to awaken your senses, we will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savor fruits and spices.
• This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils.
• Thereafter, transfer to a hotel/lodge.
• Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge.

• After breakfast, we check out and start our journey to the beautiful beach of Matemwe Muyuni.
• Upon arrival, we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins.
• After swimming with them, we go to shallow water for snorkeling and explore the sandbank before heading back to the beach for a BBQ seafood lunch.
• Have lunch and enjoy a bit of beach leisure.
• After leisure, we drive to the aquarium for swimming, feeding, and petting sea turtles.
• After the tour, we drive back to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
