Your day will begin with an early pick-up from your hotel at 4:00 am. Our professional driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for an early flight at 6:00 am. Our professional team at the airport will meet and greet and brief you on your upcoming safari. Later, they'll assist you with checking in at the airport.
Upon arrival at the Matemere Airstrip, our guide will meet you and begin with an early morning game drive across the park. Later, you will indulge in a buffet lunch in the bush surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Then, you will check into your hotel for relaxation before preparing for our (optional) night game drive, where you will see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat coming out in the dark. Our night game drive begins from 6 pm to 11 pm.
You will begin your day after an early breakfast and pick-up from your hotel, Selous Safari Lodge. Our guide will take you on a boat safari across the Rufiji River. You will witness the sunrise inside the park, You will witness hippos, crocodiles, and other animals during the boat adventure.
You will enjoy non alcoholic champagne while cruising down the river. In the afternoon, we will take you on a bush walking safari and then to the Maasai village to experience the real indigenous African culture, which depends on hunting and gathering.
Later in the day, you will indulge in a hot lunch. In the evening, you will head to the Matemere Airstrip and board a flight back to Zanzibar, where your driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel.
