Terms & Conditions – Travel With Confidence
1. Definitions
• “Company” refers to ZANSAFARI TOURS AND TRAVELS.
• “Client” refers to any person or group who makes a booking or participates in a tour
organized by the Company.
• “Services” include tours, excursions, safaris, airport transfers, and related travel
arrangements provided by the Company.
2. Bookings and Payments
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total tour cost.
• The remaining balance must be settled 15-days before the tour begins, unless otherwise
agreed in writing.
• All payments should be made via the official payment channels provided by the
Company.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Company.
• 30 days or more before arrival: 100% refund
• 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund
• 9–14 days before arrival: 25% refund
• 0–8 days before arrival: No refund
• Once the tour has commenced or in case of no-show: No refund
(Refunds exclude bank charges and any non-refundable third-party services already secured.)
4. Children Policy
• Children rates vary depending on the tour type and age.
• Please contact our representative for specific child prices and discounts.
5. Changes by the Client
• Any request to amend a confirmed booking must be communicated in writing.
• The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot
guarantee availability.
• Any additional costs arising from amendments will be borne by the Client.
6. Changes by the Company
• ZANSAFARI TOURS AND TRAVELS reserves the right to make minor changes to
itineraries due to operational or safety reasons.
• In the event of major changes, clients will be informed as soon as possible and offered
alternative arrangements of equal value or a refund (if applicable).
7. Insurance
• All clients are strongly advised to have personal travel insurance covering medical
emergencies, cancellations, and loss of property.
• The Company does not provide insurance and will not be liable for any incidents not
directly caused by its negligence.
8. Liability and Responsibility
• The Company takes all reasonable steps to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
• However, it shall not be held responsible for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay,
or irregularity caused by acts of nature, government actions, or other circumstances
beyond its control.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring that their travel documents (passport, visa, health
certificates, etc.) are valid.
9. Dispute Resolution
• Any dispute between the Client and the Company shall first be resolved internally
through direct communication.
• If unresolved, it will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of
Zanzibar, Tanzania.
10. Force Majeure
• The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure
results from circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics,
civil unrest, or government restrictions.
11. Third Parties
• ZANSAFARI TOURS AND TRAVELS operates all its own services.
• In cases where third-party services are used (e.g., hotels or boats), the Company will
remain in direct coordination to ensure service quality but is not responsible for acts or
omissions of third parties.
12. Acceptance of Terms
• By confirming a booking and making payment, the Client acknowledges that they have
read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
