DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ZANZIBAR AIRPORT

Arrive in Zanzibar, meet by our guide/driver and greet at Zanzibar Airport
Transfer to your chosen hotel/lodge.
Have a Zanzibar tour briefing by our professional guide at the hotel/lodge
Leave you to rest and prepare for tomorrow
Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge

DAY 2: FULL DAY PRISON ISLAND, STONE TOWN AND SPICE FARMS

After breakfast pick up by our driver for Prison Island tour
We drive to Zanzibar Stone Town to take our boat to Prison Island
Prison Island was a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland
Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises
After prison island we take our boat back for City Tour to the historic sites of Stone Town and shopping in the Antique and gift shops
A guided town tour takes you through narrow streets of the old Stone Town, where history seems to stand still
Visit the House of Wonders, Fredy Mercury House, the Arab Fort, Zanzibar’s bustling market, former slave market, Tip Tipp House, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors and balconies, two cathedrals and many mosques.
After the tour proceed to Spice farms looking for spices, lunch and tropical fruits
Thereafter transfer to the back to your hotel/lodge
Have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/hotel

DAY 3: SUNSET CRUISE

• Around 2pm you’ll be picked up by our driver/guide heading to the beach of kendwa or nungwi before boarding a traditional wooden dhow
You will board a traditional wooden dhow, a sailing boat that has been used for centuries in the region. the crew will welcome you on board and ensure you are comfortable.
The dhow will set sail from the shore, gliding smoothly over the calm waters of the ocean. you will have the opportunity to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. As the dhow sails along the coastline, you will be treated to breath-taking views of the sunset. the sky will be painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a magical atmosphere.
Most sunset cruises in Zanzibar offer refreshments on board, such as snacks and drinks. you can enjoy a cold beverage while watching the sun dip below the horizon.
Some sunset cruises may also include live music or entertainment on board, adding to the festive atmosphere.
After the sun has set and you have enjoyed the peaceful cruise, the dhow will make its way back to the shore. you will disembark feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from the experience.

DAY 4: JOZANI FOREST AND MAALUM CAVE (ROCK RESTAURANT AS OPTION)

After having breakfast will be heading to the jozani forest
Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative
A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer
We will also be able to visit mangroves and Swahili dance before heading to maalum cave
After jozani trip will climb on our car again for maalum cave exploration, enjoying the natural environment from your car window during the trip.
Swimming, snorkelling and learn about the history of the spiritual maalum cave will be among the experiences to have at the cave.
Heading to the rock restaurant for lunch after maalum cave is an option and has to be reserved before.
Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: MNEMBA ISLAND TRIP

After breakfast we check out and start our journey to the beautiful beach of Matemwe muyuni.
After arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins
After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkelling and sandbank before getting back to the beach for BBQ seafood lunch.
Have lunch and a bit of beach leisure
After leisure we drive to the aquarium for swimming, feeding and petting sea turtles
After the tour we drive back to the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight
